Dr. Daniel Kapp is a graduate of the University of Virginia. He completed medical school at the University of South Florida and a Plastic Surgery Residency at The Ohio State University. Dr. Kapp served as a clinical instructor in plastic surgery and general surgery at Ohio State University College of Medicine. He was honored as the Anastasi Fellow in Plastic Surgery at Boston University Medical Center. His clinical expertise has won him accolades including the Upjohn & Pharmacia Award in Pharmacology. Dr. Kapp is nationally recognized for his expertise in complex wound care management utilizing advanced biologics and the use cutting-edge technology in wound care. He has served as an advisor to a number of pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. Dr. Kapp is involved in leading clinical trials and innovative research that will provide advanced technologies to facilitate the healing of chronic wounds. Dr. Kapp is an Editor of the Journal of Wound Care.
