Dr. Dawn Franceschina is a physical therapist at the wound care center at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. She has been working with patients in the inpatient and outpatient areas of wound care for the past 27 years She has been a guest lecturer at Northwestern University for the past 25 years, teaching wound care to students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She has also lectured on topic of wound care at many different continuing education conferences over the span of her career. Dawn received her CWS certification from the American Board of Wound Management in 2002, and currently sits as the Vice Chair for the ABWM Foundation Board.
