Dr. Jamison Feramisco, MD PhD is currently the founder and CEO of Mismo Dermatology Group, providing best in class evidence -based medical dermatology and wound care to patients across the continuum of care. He has served as an innovator and international leader in healthcare medical services for over two decades. He has co-founded and led numerous companies that have served over one million patient encounters. He has been a pioneer in helping to develop and evaluate a number of standard FDA approved and FDA Innovation Pathway products and devices. Specifically, he has engaged in clinical studies regarding the efficacy of various novel wound care technologies and advanced skin substitutes in complex wound care of comorbid patients.

Dr. Feramisco's passion for integrating medicine, AI/data, and business innovation is driven by his vast experience in clinical services, data analytics, telemedicine, and healthcare technology. He has intimate knowledge and experience with medical devices, FDA, HIPAA and artificial intelligence/machine learning applications across healthcare. Dr. Feramisco is a frequent lecturer and consultant on a national and international level. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and maintains many professional society affiliations. Dr. Feramisco graduated in Honors with triple Bachelor of Science degrees majoring in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at the University of California at Los Angeles. He also earned an MD and PhD from the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas under the mentorship of Nobel Laureates Drs. Mike Brown and Joseph Goldstein. He further trained at both the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas / Parkland Hospital in Internal Medicine and at the University of California at San Francisco in Dermatology.
