Stephen Davis is a research professor in the Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology & Cutaneous Surgery and has been Principle Investigator (PI) or Co-PI on research grants totaling over $27 million from DARPA, Canadian Defense, US Army, Office of Naval Research, NIH, NSF and various companies. He has 38 years of expertise using porcine models to study the wound healing and antimicrobial effects of various topical agents or devices. Professor Davis has worked with well over 200 companies in research and development of various products that are on the market today.
