Dr. Rivka Stone MD PhD is a board-certified dermatologist and Associate Professor at the Philip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami. As a physician scientist, Dr. Stone’s research focuses on translational genomics of inflammatory and fibrosing skin disorders. She has over 35 peer-reviewed publications and has received several awards for her paradigm-shifting work in chronic wound healing. Dr. Stone is funded by NIH/NIDDK for her research on biomarkers of diabetic wound healing and by the Dermatology Foundation for her work in radiation-induced skin fibrosis.
