Amay J. Bandodkar is an assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC State University. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Indian Institute of Technology – Banaras Hindu University (2011) and Ph.D. in nano-engineering from UC San Diego (2016). He was then a postdoc in Materials Science and Engineering at Northwestern University (2016-2020). His group develops next-generation biosensors and power sources for various tissue-integrated applications. He is the recipient of IEEE Sensors Early Career Award, MIT Technology Review 35 Innovators under 35, Biosensors Young Investigator Award, Metrohm Young Chemist Award, MRS Graduate Student Award, Siebel Scholars Award, and Interdisciplinary Research Award.
