Dr. Green is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana and received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Louisiana State University. Dr. Green earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a three-year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Scott & White Memorial Hospital – University of Baylor Health Science Center in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Green is board certified in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He has served on the board in various roles including president and now serves as Vice President of the Louisiana Podiatric Medicine Association, elected delegate representing Louisiana at the House of Delegates in Washington, D.C. annually, and the political action committee coordinator for the state lobbying on capital hill annually for the past 10 years. Dr. Green is the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons Regional President for the Gulf States. Dr. Green is the founder and program director for the Christus St. Patrick Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency program, medical director for the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Wound Care Center at Imperial Pointe, and Team Physician for McNeese State University where he also has been appointed as a professor in the Health and Human Performance Department and teaches undergraduates in Lower Extremity Injury Assessment.
