The Residents & Fellows Experience

ISET offers current fellows in training and residents the unique opportunity to participate in the Residents & Fellows Activity Scholarship, which provides tuition assistance for the 2026 International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET).

Scholarship include:

  • Complimentary tuition* for all days of the ISET 2026 program, currently planned to begin with a Fellows event on Sunday, February 8, at 6:00 PM and continue through Thursday, February 12, at 1:00 PM, at the Lowes Miami Beach Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.
  • Travel stipend of $800 to be used toward travel expenses incurred to attend ISET. This stipend will be processed 2 weeks after the meeting, pending completion of all required tasks.

Eligibility for Scholarship

  • Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited residency or fellowship program in vascular surgery, cardiology / interventional cardiology, or interventional radiology at the time of the meeting (February 2026).
  • Applicants must complete the application, including agreement to the requirements and the following document uploads:
    • ​​Submit a signed letter on letterhead from your program director confirming your status as a current resident or fellow in February 2026.
    • Submit a completed W-9 form (US applicants) or a completed wire transfer form (international applicants).

Terms of Acceptance

  • Attend Sessions in Full

Acceptance of this scholarship requires the awardee to attend all sessions of the conference, in full, including additional sessions designated specifically for residents and fellows. The conference is planned to begin with a Fellows event on Sunday, February 8, at 6:00 PM and to end Thursday, February 12, at 1:00 PM. Please plan your schedule accordingly.

  • Session Sign-in

You must sign in at designated sessions in order to receive your scholarship stipend. The list of sessions requiring sign-in will be posted on this page of our website as soon as it is available. Please check back for updates. Failure to attend required sessions in full at the conference will cause your scholarship payment to be at risk of forfeit.

  • Registration

Scholarship recipients are required to register to attend ISET using the steps and information provided in the acceptance email within two weeks of receiving the acceptance email. Failure to register to attend the meeting within this timeline will cause your scholarship to be forfeited.

  • Payment Information

Scholarship recipients are required to submit a completed W-9 form and the forms required for direct deposit (US applicants) or a completed wire transfer form (international applicants) to Elizabeth Ketter at eketter@hmpglobal.com by Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

  • Travel Information

Scholarship recipients are also required to submit a copy of a final travel itinerary, including flight information, to Elizabeth Ketter at eketter@hmpglobal.com by Friday, December 12, 2025, or the scholarship will be at risk of forfeit.

  • Post-Conference Survey

Scholarship recipients are required to complete a post-conference survey that will be sent via email after the conference. This survey needs to be completed by Thursday, February 26, 2026 (within 2 weeks of the conference). Failure to complete this survey will cause your scholarship payment to be at risk of forfeit.

Important Dates

Please see below for approximate notification timelines.

  • September 29–December 1: Applicants will be notified of acceptance via email on a rolling basis. Waitlisted applicants will be notified as well.
  • Within 2 weeks of email acceptance: Registration deadline. If you have been accepted for a scholarship and have not registered for the conference within two weeks of receiving your acceptance email, your scholarship will be forfeited and offered to someone on the waitlist.
  • December 3: Payment information deadline. Submit your completed W-9 form and direct deposit information (US applicants) or your completed wire transfer form (international applicants) by this date.
  • December 15: Registration cancellation deadline. Cancellation requests must be received no later than December 15, 2025. Please email your cancellation request to Elizabeth Ketter at eketter@hmpglobal.com
  • December 15: Travel information deadline. Submit your travel itinerary to Elizabeth Ketter at eketter@hmpglobal.com by this date.
  • February 8–12, 2025: Attend ISET in Hollywood, Florida. Attend sessions in full and sign in to designated sessions.
  • February 16, 2026: Post-conference survey completion deadline. Complete the post-conference survey, sent via email, by this date.

Cancellations

Scholarships are limited. If you are unable to attend, please notify HMP Global immediately so we can offer the scholarship to another resident or fellow on the waiting list. Please email Elizabeth Ketter at eketter@hmpglobal.com. Cancellations are requested by Monday, December 15, 2025.

No-Shows

Failure to send a cancellation request or attend ISET in full will result in ineligibility for future scholarships opportunities at HMP Global conferences, which include but are not limited to the International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET), Clinical Symposium on Interventional Oncology (CIO), Western Atrial Fibrillation Symposium (Western AFIB), and the Amputation Prevention Symposium (AMP).

The travel stipend for residents and fellows may be subsidized by educational grants from Industry.
