Brittney Thoreson is the Vice President of Operations, where she is responsible for leading Knute Nelson’s housing and skilled campuses. Brittney has 15 years of experience in the long-term care industry ranging from Hospice to Housing; spanning various levels of advanced leadership. Brittney is a graduate of the Knute Nelson Leadership Academy, Leadership Academy through LeadingAge Minnesota, and most recently graduated from the Leadership Advanced Development (LEAD) Program through Argentum, the industry’s leading national association. Brittney participates on various committees with LeadingAge MN and is the secretary of their District board. She also serves as secretary for the Alexandria Community Education Foundation and for the Alexandria Area Hockey Association board. Brittney obtained a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Brittney enjoys attending sporting events, traveling and enjoying the outdoors with her husband Jay, and their three children Kael, Crosby, and Macie.
